May 30 - June 3: Finding Forrester

Fri. June 3
- The lab is booked:
- Review ch. 8, 11 and 13 answers for Finding Forrester.
- Complete ch 9 and 10 assignments.
- Research and complete the two ch. 12 paragraphs.
REMEMBER to cite your sources in MLA format: Use the Citation Machine.
Some sites, such as Wikipedia, provide citation links (click Toolbox on left).
**Staple together completed ch. 9, 10 and 12 assignments to hand in.


Thurs. June 2
- Provincial exam reading response practice
- Blk. G: peer edit English 9 paragraphs
- Review ch. 11 and 13 answers
- Read and complete ch. 9 (24 marks) and ch. 10 (16 marks) assignments.

Wed. June 1
- Review ch. 8 answers
- Read ch. 8 to 10 and work on ch. 9 (24 marks) and 10 (16 marks) assignments.


Tues. May 31
- What can be learned from Harvard's "Project Implicit" research? Should this type of bias assessment tool be applied to the selection process for jury members, judges, or other professionals in positions of trust?
- Read chapters 8 and 9. Then work on ch. 9 assignments (24 marks). 

Mon. May 30

- We will be participating in Harvard University's "Project Implicit" study, which surveys implicit bias related to a range of topics.
- View the introductory video about this project. Then, go to Project Implicit and complete surveys of your choice. 

- After you've participated, work on:
completing the five paragraph essay or the glossary assignment from Friday or a practice e-exam for the English 10 provincial exam.
